The restaurant is located in the Pavilion of the new Las Caras de Mexico Golf Course at La Ventana del Mar. The Pavilion currently serves a number of purposes including the main venue for golf course related services including the temporary clubhouse for the new Las Caras de Mexico golf course. So much has been written about the golf course that little attention has been given to the new restaurant. The Pavilion Restaurant recently opened providing a new level of cuisine not found elsewhere in the San Felipe area.
“The Pavilion’s kitchens are complete and the newly trained staff prepares dishes that can rival those offered at the finest restaurants in L.A., Las Vegas or New York,” said Colman. If you look at the menu you won’t be surprised. For appetizers how does a Pacific Ahi Tuna Sashimi and Sesame Soy Glaze or Tournedos Tartare sound? For your main course choose from mouth-watering entrees such as Walnut Encrusted Rack of Lamb in a Roasted Fig and Apricot Glaze, or Champagne Poached Scallops Topped with Shrimp.
According Colman, the menu is only in its infancy. The Pavilion is now opening for breakfast and lunch in addition to the dinner hours adding other tasty options to the ever-expanding menu. Make the trip to the Pavilion Restaurant and sample the exceptionally fine dining now being offered.
